The Texas MUD map

2,212 district boundaries from TCEQ's records, shaded by each district's 2025 total tax rate (1,014 districts carry one). Click any shape — or any dot — for the district, its rate, and its debt. Gray means the rate isn't in the state's file — not that it's zero.

…or just look around — every dot is a district. Hover to see its name, click for its record.

Stack the 2025 rates we can map on one spot — school, county, city, and the districts.
Approximate — 2,631 associations' matched parcels in Bexar & Brazoria & Collin & Denton & Fort Bend & Galveston & Harris & Hays & Montgomery & Tarrant & Travis & Williamson. Not legal boundaries.

2025 total rate, per $100 of taxable value: $0 under $0.50 $0.50–0.99 $1.00+ no rate on file HOA footprint (toggle) — approximate 2,212 districts drawn from TCEQ's boundary records.

Boundaries are TCEQ's digitized polygons — approximate at the edges, simplified for display; the district itself is authoritative. Rates: Texas Comptroller, Special District Rates and Levies 2025 (file version "Working"). Districts whose appraisal district did not report rates are shown as "no rate on file." Officer of record and phone are as filed in TCEQ's registry. The point tax check stacks the 2025 rates from the Comptroller's school, city, and county compilations against Census boundaries — the entities it can map, so its total is a floor: hospital, emergency-services, college and other districts may also tax a given spot, and exemptions and assessed-value rules aren't applied — your county tax office computes actual bills. HOA footprints are approximate — the dissolved ground of tax-roll parcels whose recorded subdivision names match the association's registration at high confidence; the declaration at the county clerk is the boundary. Not sure which shape is yours? Look up your address — it answers exactly.
